Sly threw himself into the snow for cover, but it was too late, Carmelita had already spotted him. It was his own fault, really, he had left the safe house when there was still a tiny bit of light left. He should have waited until complete darkness before venturing out, but he had been impatient to get to work, and now he was paying for it. His dark clothing had stood out against the stark white snow like a stain, and Carmelita had detected him immediately. If it had been dark, he would have blended in perfectly.

Sly had saved her life by jumping in the path of a shot Dr. M. directed toward her. Sly had lost all memory of being a thief from that. For years before that event, Sly and Carmelita had always been in love, but their jobs came first. More than anything, she had wanted to spend her life with Sly rather than playing cops and robbers. sly 4Sam Cooper jumped out of the way. He looked at his leg… he’d received a serious cut. He looked to his pal, McSweeny, who was dodgeing Clockworks lasers. Clockwerk was cackling to himself, acting like a child playing with his new toy. Sam then looked to the brains of the operation, Dr. M, who had almost de-activated the computor Clockwerk was draining. When it was done, Clockwerk lept to the window of the lair. Powerless, he turned to Sam. "Sam Cooper, I’m sick of being defeated by you and your ancestors. So, I put a curse on you. The Cooper family from now on, will repeat the lives of you, the 'Cooper gang,' and forever be curssly 4
